Guild Meeting

Goals:             To learn how the other small groups conduct their meetings.

Execution:      After we welcome new guests and announce any important guild news, each group coordinator or their representative will explain how they conduct their meetings, what’s happening, successes, growth of members. They may even wish to have some members talk about their growth and experiences. There are 7 groups so 10 minutes per group.

Requirements:Lecture format with chairs facing east.

Timetable:

6:30               Call the meeting

6:30 – 6:32 Welcome new members

6:32 – 6:35 Brief explanation and announcements

6:35 – 7:50 Presentation from each group

7:50 – 8:00 Clean up

Comments:     We can all learn from different techniques. Members may learn about different critiquing methods or hear about successes or growth of writers from various groups. Sharing ideas can benefit us all.
